Hi Felipe, I don't think I understand the measurement circuit you are using. Can you sketch it? What is the wiring of the W, H, L and the external resistor with a current source and GND.

Forum Post: RE: ADS1298: Delta-Sigma delay
Hi Ryan, thanks for the response. the thing is we are trying to Measure the N20 signal, dependent on the stimulation of the medial nerve, and a very important information of this signal is to determine its latency (how long it takes to propagate from the hand to the brain). This being typically at 20ms since the stimulation. Hence, when acquiring the signal at 8kbps, 3 samples is not that significant. However, 3 samples at 1kbps means 3ms delay to take into account in the measurement, if I’m not mistaken. Is it like that? And 3ms more or less it is a significant difference for our case. Looking forward for your reply. kind regards, ignasi

Hi Kilian, Good question! To be honest, I'm not sure myself how this configuration works. I'll find out and get back to you as soon as possible - might not be until next week though given the Thanksgiving Holiday here in the US.

Forum Post: RE: AFE881H1: WDT Feeding During SPI Write Failure Conditions Caused by HART Transmission
Shunsuke-san, I was able to get the WDT window mode enabled with double writes. I think long-term, you would prefer some other method, but at least this works for now. The sequence was to enable the WDT in non-window mode with a double write (0x110031). This enters WDT in normal mode with WDT_HI set to 3.41s, I needed to wait 53ms and then enabled WDT in window mode with another double write (0x110033). The 53ms wait time seemed necessary. Any shorter wait time gives a WDT error. I'll need to run this for a longer time period just to test it, but at least this is something to get started. Joseph Wu

Forum Post: RE: TSC2007: I2C pin level at POR
Hi, I dont see any concern using the FETs to act as a switch for VDD supply to control the power sequence. I would recommend a larger decoupling cap, maybe 1uF, on VDD to improve power stability.

Hi Canyon, The sample clock is typically part of the analog circuitry and therefore tied to the analog supply. This is also can be seen in the equivalent circuits/pin descriptions on page 3. See below. Regards, Rob

Hi Alan, You can find the schematic (section 7.3) and the screenshots for the PCB layout (section 7.2) in the ADS131B26Q1EVM-PDK User's Guide , but the Altium files for the EVM are not published because the EVM board is only used for ADC evaluation purpose. BR, Dale

Forum Post: ADS1258: ADS1258 Register Read command question
Part Number: ADS1258 Tool/software: Hi I am configuring the ADC in a certain way and I would like to be able to check the configuration I made. For example, I set the MUXSG0 register as “10000001”, I want to see that configuration so I guess I should send a command for this with the register address, hoping that what I get back is that “10000001”.... I'm not sure if it's the Read Register Command = “010” having as Command “01000100” What should I get as a response? how do I get those configuration values? simply "10000001"? This for 1 specific register, but what about multiple register? whit MUL = '1'

Forum Post: RE: ADS1258: ADS1258 Register Write command Problem, configuring registers
Hi Bryan Thanks for replying, I have started a new thread for the other question, sorry for asking it in this thread Talking about the question in this thread... I changed the SCLK clock frequency to 1 MHz, and I can corroborate that indeed the clock is at that frequency, but when I send a new configuration command the ADC is not configured as I expect... moreover, the data that is sent from the ADC by the MISO pin are not according to what I configure and even receive in the STATUS BYTE in table 12. I get in the CHID bits values that are not found in table 13. for example 1Eh. I don't know if the frequency is now too low, or other restrictions are not met In the attached image, you can see how the first values that I receive in the MISO signal (STATUS BYTE) are “11111110”, making the CHID “11110” (1Eh), which is not what was configured.

Forum Post: RE: ADS125H01: Background to why CRC is implemented
Hi Bryan, Thank you for your reply. I understand. There is a phenomenon where converted data becomes garbled in a noisy environment, and that CRC is implemented to detect this. I'll share this information with the customer. It seems that as the process has progressed, it has become easier to implement CRC. I appreciate your great help and cooperation. Best regards, Shinichi

Part Number: DAC8775 Tool/software: Hi, I am working on DAC8775. In the datasheet of DAC8775, under alarm section, there are some error in which open circuit is one of them. When is the open circuit condition generated? Because there is no fault bit raised in status register and the Alarm pin doesn't go low. DAC8775 is configured in current mode 4mA-20mA. count given was 0x7FFF. I have attached the schematic below for your reference. One more doubt, open short circuit condition is only for current mode or can it be used for voltage mode also? Regards, Nithin D
