We have not seen this problem on our platforms. This device has been in use in very large volumes for years and I'd expect to have encountered this problem if it were an inherent bug of the AIC3256.
Are you able to reproduce this on the AIC3256 EVM? If you cannot reproduce this on the EVM, we'd have to examine your board. Is there a possibility to get one shipped to TI?
