Hi Harsh, I'm still not sure what the issue is. Can you share the complete register map table showing the device configuration? Also, what is the cable impedance from the electrode connector to the DB15 pin on the EVM? The unfiltered respiration waveform should still be available to view under the normal Scope tab (CH1). Does the Respiration view and Scope view look the same (this is just to confirm the data is being handled properly in the GUI). Regards, Ryan

No worries Vijaya, Can you please also send a screen capture of the Vin at the ADC input with your 110AC signal applied? You are the first person I've come across using one of the LEM Voltage transducers. I used the current sensing parts all the time and never did get the chance to use this variety.

Hi Brent, It's actually a driven digital output, it should not be an open-drain connection. Can you get some of the other control lines? /CS, SCLK, SDI etc?

Hello d.gre, Thank you again for your patience. The short answer is no. However, the microcontroller can periodically cause Chip Select CS to go low of the device to poll the state of the DOUT/DRDY pin to indicate when new conversion data is available. Section “Interfacing with Multiple Devices” of the data sheet ADS1220 provides information that can help in your application. Best Regards, Henry Sarmiento

Hello Sarath, The only precision ADC that we have that includes both IIR and FIR filters and also supports 50ksps data rates is the ADS127L21. This is a single channel device, but 10 devices can be daisy-chained together and synchronized with each other. The ADS127L21 offers both FIR, SINC, and IIR filter options. At 50ksps, effective resolution is >21b. Regards, Keith Nicholas Precision ADC Applications

Hi Keith, Thank you , for your reply. I did check DC bias at each input it is 2.5V DC; and AC- component is 250mV pk-pk at each input (180 degree phase shift between input) Regards, Iouri

We have considered your application note and same things are being applied in our design. We have passed Surge and EFT but face challenge in Conducted immunity test. Due to confidentiality, I could not share schematic and layout files. Could you please share your thoughts that we may do through by adding more protection components or through any software algorithm or giving programmable delay for removing aliasing effect? Thanks. Forum Post: ADC128S102: ADC128S102

Part Number: ADC128S102 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F2808 , Tool/software: Hi, I am using two ADC128S102 A/D converters for sampling 10 analog channels. The two ADC128S102 chips are connected to a TMS320F2808 DSP through the SPI D port. The DSP uses two GPIOs for driving each of the ADC128S102 chip's CS pins - one GPIO per ADC CS line. However, the SPI clock, MISO and MOSI lines of each ADC128S102 chip are combined into the SPI-D lines of the DSP - i.e. the SPI clock of both ADC's are connected together to the DSP's SPI-D clock line, and the same for the MOSI and MISO lines. I have configured my SPI lines as follows: 1. The CS line of each ADC128S102 is connected to a pin of the DSP configured as a general purpose output with internal pull up enabled. 2. The SPI-D clock is set at 10 Mhz. 3. The GPIO PUD register for the SPI-D MISO and MOSI lines are configured with internal pull up enabled. 4. The SPI-D baud rate register is configured in 16-bit word mode so that the entire 12 bit ADC value response can be clocked in from the ADC chip and read from the SPI-D RX register. When I read the analog channel ADC values from a ADC128S102, I enable the chip select line of a single ADC128S102 chip by pulling it low and then make the SPI reads - i.e. when I read one ADC128S102 chip, the CS line of the other ADC128S102 chip is disabled (set to digital state high). The ADC reference voltage on VA is 3.3V. VD is also 3.3V. The GND for both the ADC chip, the DSP and the analog input is the same. Here are my observations: When I read just the analog channel, say IN0, from one of the ADC128S102 chip, I get only half of the actual ADC value of the analog signal. So, for example, if the IN0 analog signal is 2.361V, I get an ADC value of 1464, when I should get a value of 2928. I have confirmed my DSP code is correct, and this is the value I get when I read the RX register. Why is this? Am I missing something?

Forum Post: ADS8568: Settling within 1/2 LSB

Part Number: ADS8568 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2156 Tool/software: Hi All, I'm trying to design the input stage driver for the ADS8568, from the datasheet here is the input stage Using the analog engineers calculator I got the following values: I selected the OPA2156 as the driver and have a 5V fixed input for now (first trying to get the input settling correct before any signal conditioning circuitry is added). Running the OPA2156 in open loop I have the output as: The acquisition time is set to 280ns and the sampling rate is 400k. For the life of me using the recommended values I cant get it to settle within 1/2 LSB which is ((10V/65535)/2) = ~76uV Here is one of the simulations I ran: The GBW of the amplifier is within spec and I'm not sure why the amplitude does not settle sufficiently. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi Samiha, Please see the feedback from our customer. "Thank you for your response. The output voltage range is 0V to 2.5V which should be well within the range of the ADS8860EVM-PDK. I noticed the input for the ADS8860EVM-PDK is via a SMA connecter. My accelerometer connects via 6 pins as shown in the image below. VDD: power supply pin (3.3V) for the ADXL1001 accelerometer. GND: ground pin and should be connected to the system ground. V_out: analog output signal of the accelerometer. Could you advise on how I can connect the Accelerometer to the ADS8860EVM-PDK?" Thank you for your help. Kind regards, Marvin

Part Number: DAC80502 Tool/software: Hi, I would like to ask you some questions about internal reference as below. Q1) Output voltage drift vs time (datasheet page 6) There describes the data 20uV(typ). (20uV/2.5 = 8ppm @ 35C, 1900hr) I have tried to compare the data with the data of "Fig 50, datasheet 18 page. I suppose the value of 8ppm seems to be too small than the data of Fig50. I am feeling that the typical data of FIg50 would be around 25ppm... Will you tell me the difference between the data(20uV=8ppm) of page 6 and Fig50 of page 18. Q2) Thermal hysteresis (datasheet page 6) Will you teach me the condition to measure? Thank you very much for your support in advance. Best Regards, Takumi

Part Number: DAC80502 Tool/software: Hi, I am very sorry to ask you a very basic general question about TUE. I suppose there seems to be no description about TUE on the datasheet of ADCs. On the other hand, DACs datasheet seems to be. I do not understand well why ADCs do not specify the TUE. Will you teach me the reason why? Thank you for your kind support. Best Regards, Takumi

Forum Post: TLA2518: No Response From Device

Part Number: TLA2518 Tool/software: Hello TI Team, I have developed a custom board with an ESP32 and qty 2 x TLA2518 ADCs included. The SPI signal is converted to and from 3.3V to 5 V using your TXS010EPW chip. The Chip Select lines are converted using a simple MOSFET bi-directional translator circuit. One TLA2518 is responding to SPI commands perfectly. The other is not. On the chip that is not responding, I have: - Replaced the chip - Confirmed that MOSI data is present and correct. - Confirmed the SCK clock is present and correct. - Confirmed the Chip Select is correct. The code and library is clearly correct as one device works. The MISO line of the faulty chip stays high at all times. I have paid attention to circuit layout and decoupling as per the specification sheet. Is there anything you can suggest that may assist in getting the second chip operational? I was thinking there may be some additional considerations with two devices on 1 bus. Thanks.

Hi,Tom, Thank you for your responce. I guess it is writen in section 7.3.5 of the datasheet, but I've understand that the LSB size is directly related to AVDD.
