Hi Nimit Vachhani, The over voltage requirements are defined by your system. For example, some systems are powered by a 24V power supply. Therefore, it is possible that someone could miswire the system and apply the 24V power supply voltage to one of the input terminal blocks. So therefore the system needs to protect against an overvoltage of 24V. You will have to decide what level of overvoltage protection you need based on how your system will be used -Bryan
