Part Number: DAC8775 Tool/software: Hi, I was unable to perform testing earlier due to other commitments, but I have now resumed debugging this issue. In continuation of the discussion in the link below: https://e2e.ti.com/support/data-converters-group/data-converters/f/data-converters-forum/1444360/dac8775-open-circuit-condition To clarify: I am able to read other registers successfully, and I do receive valid data. I can read the Fault Channel register in case of a short circuit, confirming that fault detection is working as expected. However, in the case of an open circuit, I do not see any fault indication. The fault for the respective channel is unmasked in the Status Mask Register , yet no error is reported. Additionally: The DAC output changes correctly when I write to it, and I can achieve the desired output. The configuration is set to 4mA – 20mA current output mode. Could you help me understand why the open circuit condition is not being detected despite proper configuration? Thanks, Nithin D
