Hi Hridya, 1) The built-in temperature sensor is a feature. The device will not change the output depending on the temperature. 2) You can see power dissipation characteristics in the datasheet. When the DACs are unloaded, max power consumption is 120mW. Low power consumption was not a concern when developing this device, but it will not disproportionally increase temperature. Note that the device is quite large and has a large thermal pad. These help keep the temperature low. 3) The difference in price comes from the rating. -SEP has less radiation tolerance than -SP. That's why the AFE costs less than the DAC, even though the AFE has much more functionality. Thanks, Erin
