Forum Post: RE: look for the right ADC

Hi,

I do not know what the 5-6k interface board is.  Would you please explain?   You are posting in the forum for high-speed data converters, where we have many EVMs that can handle a 25MHz sample rate and have parallel output busses in either single-ended CMOS or LVDS signalling.  But i do not know what type of interface you are looking for.

Most of our single-ended CMOS output formats are on standard header posts, the type that are 0.025" square posts on 0.100" centers.  Usually these headers are two rows of 20 posts, with clock on one corner and ground down one whole row of posts.

Our LVDS output format is almost always on a Samtec connector, such as you might see on the ADS4145 EVM for example.

If you need some other physical interface, you may need to fabricate an interface board to bridge an EVM to what you want to hokk up to.

Regards,

Richard P.
