Jim, Sorry for the delayed response. I'm sure the company has an NDA in place with TI, but I do not believe that I am specifically named. Let me know how to proceed. My understanding regarding the FIFO read errors is that the behavior I am seeing is expected, but not well documented. Similarly with the 3 SYSREF pulses. The original issue was that I have no way of knowing whether the DAC is running and outputting a signal, so, if stops for some reason, I cannot detect the condition to take recovery action. I had focused on the FIFO read error, but now it appears that it will not help. So, before we close the issue, can you think of any way to detect that whether the DAC is running? Thanks, Lance
