Forum Post: bit duration in output code not correlated to CLK

Hello,

actually i'm using an ADS1675 ADC and i've seen that every single bit in output code has a time duration of 1/fclk.

What i mean is that if i set 1 MSPS with a fclk=32Mhz in spite every word is ready every us, every single bit has a duration of 31ns.

As a newbye i'm wondering if exist ADC that behave differently in a way that every single bit can last more than 1/Fclk.
