Forum Post: Spec Sheet question with LM96551

On pg 6/14 of the spec sheet for TI’s LM96551 (document SNAS511B, revised May 2013), it claims that the worst-case VPP current is 7 mA, and the worst-case VNN is 8 mA.  At +/- 50V, this is a lot of power, and since we have 8 of these parts per system we need > 4W from the HV supplies just to keep the LM96551 idling.

Is it possible that the units should be uA instead of mA?  Or was there some other error on the spec sheet?
