Forum Post: set up the LM96511 evaluation board with WaveVision 5 (issue with loading FPGA )

Hi,

We are trying to set up  the LM96511 evaluation kit along with the WaveVision 5 data capture board on Windows 7.  We could install the hardware (as it is recognized by the system). We also set up the software. We have been  carefully following the powering up steps given in the instructions. But when the software starts it gives the following error:  "WvBoardLoadFPGA(board0/WV 5): execute boot failed". The DAC icon in the software is also off. I also checked the "Hardware Access Panel" of the software and it seems it tries to load a correct FPGA image file, but it does not boot. 

How can we fix this?
