Part Number: ADS1299 Tool/software: Hi TI Support Team, We're using 3 ADS1299s (24 channels total) in cascaded mode: 21 channels are used for EEG in referential montage 3 channels are used for true differential EMG We would like to confirm if our configuration for the shared reference and bias pins is correct. Our key questions are: 1. SRB2 vs SRB1 Internal Routing Does enabling SRB2 (CHnSET[3]=1) route the SRB2 pin to the channel’s INxP , and SRB1 (MISC1[5]=1) to all INxN ? Based on this, is it correct that we: Connect EEG active electrodes to the INxN pins Use SRB2 as a common reference And invert the data in software (to get INxN − SRB2 → EEG signal)? 2. BIASOUT and BIASIN Connection Between Devices We understand that only one ADS1299 should drive the bias. Are the following connections correct? Use BIASOUT from Device #1 as the active bias driver Connect BIASIN of Device #1, #2, and #3 to this BIASOUT Leave BIASOUT of Devices #2 and #3 unconnected Should the unused BIASOUT pins be left floating , or tied to AVSS (analog ground) ? 3. BIASINV Pin Usage If BIASINV is not used, should it be left floating , or tied to AVSS ? Thank you in advance for your support and clarification!
