Hi Anakshi, The RLD is required to establish a known common-mode voltage for the input signals from the body/simulator. This is needed to ensure the PGA in front of each ADC channel is operating properly. If RLD is not used, then it is recommended to AC-couple the inputs and use a high impedance network to bias each input to mid-supply or RLDOUT. I'm not sure why charging your PC would make a difference, perhaps there is a grounding issue as you mentioned. The analog and digital grounds should be tied together close to the IC, or you can make them one solid ground plane as well. Regards, Ryan
