Hi Joe I started with a no-jitter signal and randomly added +-1.6us to every first 32 zero crosses (I used a 1-byte preamble) to create 1000 different jittered waveforms (patterns) . The pattern order is fixed, i.e, the pattern 100th is the same for every test run. I ran the test several times and saw that the losses aren’t tied to any specific jitter pattern. The patterns that fail in the first run might pass in the second, and vice versa. More interestingly, w hen testing each pattern 100 times before switching (100x1000 packets total), the first attempt of a new pattern sometimes fails, while the next 99 always succeed. But the oscilloscope showed the waveforms are identical. The sending interval is 500ms, sufficient to reset any filter effect I think.
