Part Number: ADS1130 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1231 Tool/software: We are using above part for some ratio matric small signal @ 10SPS speed In our case when we power up ADS1130 by providing keeps its Dout/Dready pin high for approx ~ 400 ms ,after this time this goes low and we read data using bit banging , Code Sequence -> VCC to IC--> Delay 12 us--> PDWN HIGH--> IC start-up behaviour --> Dout/Dreay remains set for ~400 ms and then goes low and then we read data by giving 24 clock -->goes high for 100 ms-->goes low(Data retrieved by giving 24 clocks)-->High and so on until Vcc is not powered down. Q1 :- Is it normal behaviour and ads takes ~400 ms for start-up [Power Up Time]? Q2 :- Did we need to ignore 4 conversion after [Power Up Time]? In data sheet it is mentioned that we need to ignore first 4 conversion and 5th conversion will be settled conversion [ If this is true then IC need at least 1 sec to give 1st valid reading ]-->Please Comment on it . Q3:-Can we have source code of Evaluation board [we have ADS1231] to understand its power up behaviour Q4 Why there is small peak of voltage approx 1.8 volt when ic is power down? [See last section of signal) As per Data sheet and as per Fig 5 IC should go high to low when Vcc is applied to Ic (no delay is mentioned ) and remains low until new conversion time is not reached. What is time delay for start of conversion is it 400 ms ?
