Part Number: ADC3562 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THS4541 Tool/software: Hi This is a question about the effect of reverse leakage current of the external overvoltage protection diode of the AINP/M line. On the 6th line of page 5 of the datasheet, it is stated that an input voltage protection diode may be required in an overvoltage event. When AVDD=1.8V, the rated voltage of AINP/M is 2.1V, and if a Schottky barrier diode is selected to achieve a VF of 0.3V or less, the SBD generally has a large reverse leakage current. If a 10μA leakage current flows through AINP/M, will this affect the measurement? As for another question, I will use the THS4541 recommended in the datasheet for the AINP/M interface, so the assumed overvoltage is the default VCM value of 2.5V. If the overvoltage is 2.5V, will the rated 2.1V of AINP/M be protected by the built-in protection diode shown in Figure 8-1 on page 29 of the datasheet without an external diode? Best Regards, Oda
