Hello Michael, Thank you for posting on TI's E2E forum! That is a very interesting use case that would be convenient to have. You are correct, the ADS7066's external reference input range has a minimum of 2.4V (2.4V to AVDD) so an input lower that 2.4V would not be recommended. If I may, what kind of analog reference are you using? The ADS7066 will work with the external reference set to 3.3V, and if set to 1xVREF it could be comparable to what you were explaining with the ~1.6V reference and 2xVREF range. If the supply being used could be filtered (or if the noise would be acceptable) that could be another option that would lead to a similar common mode. I could also offer some other suggestions of some other similar devices that have a wider input range for their external reference, or would work with the 3.3V/1.65V AVDD and external VREF configurations respectively. Could you share some information on what kind of specifications interested you in the ADS7066 (resolution, sampling rate, channel count, etc.)? Please let me know how I can continue to help with your application. Best regards, Yolanda
