Forum Post: ADS7066: Is it possible to use a 1.6V external reference voltage?

Part Number: ADS7066 Tool/software: I have an application in which I am measuring bidirectional current using an INA241. I have both references of the INA241 tied to my analog reference voltage (which I would like to set to 1.6V or 1.65V). The output of the INA241 will go to an ADC. Both the INA241 and the ADC would be powered by 3.3V. Ideally, I could tie my reference voltage to the external reference pin of the ADC and set the input voltage range to VREF*2. I was looking at the ADS7066 for the ADC, but it seems to indicate that the minimum input voltage is 2.4V. So my question is whether or not the ADS7066 would work with an external voltage reference of 1.6V?
