1: it appears that the VCP installer has been revised, and would be at http://www.ti.com/product/tusb3410 under the software heading halfway down the page, named TI_WDF_USBUART_SINGLE_DRIVER_V6.7.2.0_WHQL.exe.
2: The TSW1200 GUI installer installs the Labview runtine engine, so no prior Labview installation is necessary.
3: you don't need to set the com port number - Windows will assign an unused com port number and the GUI will find that com port. When the TSW1200 GUI does run successfully, it will display the com port number that it found in the status pane in the lower left corner of the GUI after it initializes.
