Hello Don,

I think i have figured the problem. In our circuit board, the PCM 1808 was acting a s a substitute for another chip. Since the board was an experimental one, the old chip was connected in parallel with the PCM1808 which was pulling down the signals. when the PCM1808 was isolated, it worked fine.

Thanks for the help anyways

I have been operating pin 3(Vcc) on +5V and pin 4 (Vdd) at +3.3V

Regards

Salil
