Hello Tasmiya, Fusion Digital Power Studio is used to configure variables and parameters real time while your UCD3138 is controlling a power stage. When you use a traditional analog controller, such as the UCC28951 for PSFB or UCC25660 for LLC, you need to configure parameters such as the compensation and feedback using external resistors and capacitors. However, once you have soldered the resistors and capacitors onto your PCB, you cannot actively tune your controller while on a lab bench. So, if you use an analog controller, then you have to continuously swap out resistors and capacitors as you are tuning your controller. Fusion Studio removes this step. Instead of having to disconnect your PCB and soldering new resistors and capacitors, all of your configuration can happen real-time using the GUI. For example, if you are using the UCD3138 to control a PFC power stage, then you can actively change the KI values while the power stage is on. Thus, you can see real-time how changing variables such as your KI values affect your power stage and control loop. The Fusion Studio also has various other features, such as viewing warnings and status. These are all things that are customizable as well via the GUI. Fusion Studio is already set up to support various topologies, such as PFC, LLC, PSFB and more. Start with the UCD3138 EVMs and go from there. Regards, Jonathan Wong
