The communication appears ok, but the timing is wrong for DRDY. The sample rate is more like 1.5ksps instead of 2ksps. What value are you using for DVDD? Your scope shots show less than 1.5V per division. The minimum DVDD is 2.7V, and logic high needs to be at least 0.7*DVDD (about 1.9V).
Can you be more specific as to how you have everything connected to the EVM?
