I know your siuation because your FAE has post it.

But I am sorry I don't notice PLL_ClKIN is 512Khz-20Mhz.It seems 256hz BCLK is too slow for the PLL.

Independent MCLK will be asynchronous with BCLK ,it will cause skipped or repeated samples.Then you will hear audioable craft.It will still work.But we don't recomend.
