Forum Post: ads1298 - status word

Hi.

I read documentation of ads1298 and I want to make clear a few things .

If I read data from adc chanel do I receive each time ( 24 status bits + 24 data bits ) ???

So if I want to use only data to plot ECG signal I have to reject first 24 bits.

I know that some question may seem to be trivial but I just have started  work with DSP.
