i have a doubt here on the AGC in using the Noise Threshold, if i say -70dB and a noise less than -70dB is given input
will the AGC offer 0dB Gain or just reject the signal which is less than -70dB ?
so more over coming to my usage,trying to use AGC for noise detection what will be better settings
below are my settings
PGA gain :35dB (can i use it while using AGC for noise detection?)
Target level -5.5dBFS (now in this case my full scale voltage becomes half so my digital equivalent will not cross '(32767 / 2)' is that ?,while i have seen this practically happening my rms value of time 100ms never crossed 18K when i used AGC target level -5.5dBFS
on the other side can't i use 0dBFS in case of AGC ?
Max Gain in AGC used 35dB
20,100ms of attack and decay times
so now please suggest me a set for effective noise detection
