Hi Nicolas,
For the TLV320AIC3254EVM-U boards that do not work, follow these steps to 'revive' them:
- Get your USBfirmware files from http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slac563.
- Remove the board from the USB socket.
- Short SDA and SCL lines by:
- shorting U3 pins 5 and 6, or
- shorting the sides of R6 and R7 that are connected to SCL and SDA.
- Connect the EVM board to the USB socket.
- After 5 seconds, remove the short. A 'Found new Hardware' wizard will appear. The driver is in the USBfirmware files obtained above.
- Follow the instructions in AIC3254EVM-U Control Software (http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slac349) under Tools > 'EEPROM Writer' > 'Upgrading the EEPROM from versions below 2.01'.
- In the software, start on STEP 4 (Page 2: DFU driver).
- In STEP 7 (Page 3: EEPROM Programming) of the software, ignore 'insert EEPROM jumper'.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
J-
