Hello everybody!
While starting up with ADS1292, we've discovered some interesting behavior of the IC. The test board with ADS1292 is powered by external 3V supply from MCU board and MCU shows a data received on the display. But when we disconected power supply cable, ADS1292 had been still working and transmitting the data. First idea was that it is a mistake in firmware, but if we disconnect the SPI pins, MCU responds immediatly and stops showing the data on the screen. Next idea was that there is a small amount of energy in capacitors, so we desoldered all biasing caps. But the behavior is still the same)))
So, our last idea, that ADS1292 could be supplied through SPI pins due to its very low power capabilities.
How do you think, could it be? Or any other ideas?
