Could you please advise the operating system that you are using? For Windows 7, the example register files are stored in the C drive. Depending on the level of Windows 7 access, you may not be able to read them correctly from the GUI.
Could you try to right click on the DAC3482 EVM GUI, and then select "run as administrator"? If you are the administrator of the PC, you should be able to load the registers correctly afterwards.
Also, I noted that you have some difficulties duplicating the example setup. If you can take some snapshots of your GUI setup and TSW1400 HSDC PRO setup, I will be able to help.
