Ok, sorry It has been so long since my last reply. I found out that I wasn't using the correct power up sequence and so I had to fix that first. And yes I did think of the possibility of the reference voltage oscillating, but quickly dismissed the idea. In order to confirm it for you however I found out that my reference WAS oscillating. I feel a little dumb. I've fixed that problem and it seems to be working now. Thanks!
